Although PEEK is known for its high temperature performance, it is also for many other attributes such as good wear resistance and mechanical toughness. PEEK has an amazing fire rating of V-0 which is the highest available and in conjunction with that, PEEK also has very low smoke or toxic gas emissions if it does come into contact with any fire source.
